On top of boulders, a green sea hovers

On top of boulders, a green sea hovers.
Unsettled silence accompanies us.
Blues merge into yellow hues and flowers
droop in bunches upon themselves, and thus
swells life into our soles. Rest in water
black birds’ angel-stretched wings swim, float in ease.
We, a Brother and Sister lay, wonder:
How beautiful they must feel, constant peace.
Their breeze is our shade, our praise nourishment.
These bees bring memorable melodies,
smoke in the distance noticed by eye squint —
A soundless beetle hides, crawls onto me.

We, a Brother and Sister, hike up, down
sharing quiet outside the busy town.
